It has been an interesting 2020, and most of the events I had scheduled due to coronavirus cancelled. The precautions taken by everyone over the past few months seem to be helping with the recovery, and people are now beginning to be thinking ahead again to family or work events, even if not with quite as many people. I'd truly enjoy being part of your planning, and will meet "in person," remotely, or just on the phone to get ideas and details for how you'd like your event to be. I'll work with you on pricing, and have many options for keeping everything very impressive and still within your budget. I'd like to hear from you soon. Thanks! Kathy I limit the number of clients I work with which allows me more time to spend with each individual party. I have been in the restaurant business for MANY years and have many contacts, so if there is something special that wants or needs to be done, I am able to accommodate requests. I enjoy meeting people, as well as being part of the planning from "beginning to happy ending" of each event. :)

We are in the process of planning a graduation party at UMASS for about 70 people. Kathy has been prompt with replies, has an easy way about her, provides all necessary information and then some! She has added some great some ideas that have helped us to plan what I think will be a wonderful event within our budget. We are looking forward the special day. This event was excellent!! Anne could not go to this site again to write a second review for the same event, so sent me an e-mail letting me know how thrilled she was with everything. Despite the rainy day, everyone was in celebratory moods and had a great time enjoying the BBQ train/grilled chicken and ribs and all the sides and sweets! Really a fun party. Thanks Anne and family

Kathy's pricing was unbelievably reasonable. The selection of items was amazing. The food was raved about and it wasn't the standard fruit tray and veggie plate from the local market. She created a fruit bowl out of cantaloupe. The baked goods were AMAZING. She was creative in creating chicken salad on apple slices which everyone loved. Great finger food so our attendees could work and eat at the same time. She was there 45 minutes before our event working around us as we set up. Very easy going and she was responsive to our needs. I would use her again.

This was catering a request for "finger food" for those attending a seminar held by HartfordPerforms, an organization promoting arts in the Hartford public schools. It was a great event, and there eas a nice variety of foods that had been selected for the group, and everyone enjoyed it. Thanks again for the review. :)

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work with the budget amount given by the customer, and include set-up, delivery, staff & breakdown if it is a full service event. There are no additional fees; everything is included!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to respond quickly to the customer (if it is an available date that I have open) and will send a quote with menu options to consider within the price range they have given. After getting an acknowledgement from this site that they have viewed my quote, I usually follow up to see if there are any questions, or if they contact/hire me, I send a confirmation/event function sheet outlining everything that is discussed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have contacts in this business with whom I work, and I am in constant contact with others in this business to compare notes. Professional certifications include ServSafe, TIPS and AIM, and I also had a breakfast and lunch cafe.
