- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work with the budget amount given by the customer, and include set-up, delivery, staff & breakdown if it is a full service event. There are no additional fees; everything is included!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to respond quickly to the customer (if it is an available date that I have open) and will send a quote with menu options to consider within the price range they have given. After getting an acknowledgement from this site that they have viewed my quote, I usually follow up to see if there are any questions, or if they contact/hire me, I send a confirmation/event function sheet outlining everything that is discussed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have contacts in this business with whom I work, and I am in constant contact with others in this business to compare notes. Professional certifications include ServSafe, TIPS and AIM, and I also had a breakfast and lunch cafe.
