Introduction: An Extra Hand’s purpose is to make your life easier by taking care of any type of odd job or household task that needs to get done…done right…and done now. The idea for An Extra Hand originated during summer 2015 in Wellesley, MA, a suburb outside of Boston. We needed a summer job to support our college (and girlfriend) related expenses. With our previous professional moving and hauling experiences, we decided to start our own odd jobs business using our own trucks, utilities and equipment and referred to it as “An Extra Hand” that summer season. In 2016, we commercialized and built “An Extra Hand” into a full-time service by introducing innovative scheduling features and “one stop shop website”. Our experienced team of workers hustle around the clock to ensure your satisfaction.

Details: No large items to haul • Yard waste, construction debris or scrap metal • Enough to fill half of a pickup truck • There are no flights of stairs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We keep it simple. It's only $100/HR for TWO of our skilled workers to come by in a pickup truck and help with whatever you need done. We have to pay commercial dumping prices ($30 a load) if you want us to haul stuff away. Aside from that, you're getting two handymen for the price of one with An Extra Hand.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Earlier in our careers, our team worked for the big name moving/junk removal companies. Full disclosure...we didn't like the way they conducted business. So we decided to start our own that was tailored to the entire customer experience. We strive for greatness and our clients will agree!
