She's a totally dependable, low-key, deadline-oriented writer who can deliver a dead-on version of exactly what you want and can also deliver a very successful, fresh approach you'd never thought of. No drama, no worries, and outstanding writing--an almost impossible combination to find. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are as follows: $30 an hour for marketing copywriting and editing, $150 for screenplay consultation (per script), and a per-word rate for manuscripts (novels, non-fiction) depending on the project. I require an upfront, goodwill deposit before beginning a project. Please ask me about any types of work not included here.

Have an upfront discussion about the pay rate before the project begins. This should avoid any confusion later.
