- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process includes: - An initial conversation with the client about their specific needs. This is critical. I have an intake form that I use when appropriate. - A discussion of how I can meet their needs - Scheduling of services - Execution of services - Evaluation and review of services
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I obtained my B.A. in Politics and African and Afro-American Studies from Brandeis University. I went on to earn an M.P.H. from Yale University's School of Medicine, Dept. of Public Health (currently Yale School of Public Health), a M.A. in Women and Gender Studies from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Brandeis University, and a Ph.D. in Social Policy (with a focus on Health Policy) at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University. While a student, I earned many academic fellowships and awards, including the H. Jack Geiger Congressional Health Policy Fellowship, the W.K. Kellogg Fellowship in Health Policy Research, and the Isak Kazes Prize in Women and Gender Studies. I am currently a faculty member at a highly selective university in the Boston area. I have been involved with the college admissions process from several perspectives, including that of faculty member, academic adviser, admissions representative, contract admissions consultant, and Founder and Executive Director of Ranking High Admissions Consultants. I also have the perspective of a parent. My son attended The Fessenden School, Phillips Exeter Academy and Wesleyan University in Connecticut, from which he graduated with honors. He now works on Capitol Hill. These experiences make me extremely knowledgeable about the characteristics of a successful admissions applicant and uniquely able to assist you in the admissions process. Dr. Nsiah-Jefferson has helped students gain acceptance to Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, Ithaca College, Georgetown, Wellesley College, Mt Holyoke, University of Pittsburgh, Cornell School of Engineering, Fordham University-Rose Hall, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Boston College, Rochester Institute of Technology, and the University of Texas at Austin, as well as many other fine academic institutions. I can provide a full list if desired. I have also held teaching positions at Northeastern University's Bouve College of Health Sciences, as well as at Harvard and Suffolk Universities. I have been a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pittsburgh, Suffolk University and Brandeis University. I have also been recognized for her teaching and mentoring ability. In 2008, I received the Derek Bok Award for Excellence in Teaching from Harvard University. In 2012, I earned the distinction of being selected as a Davis Teaching and Learning Fellow at Brandeis University. Along with a cohort of seven other faculty members, I investigated pedagogical methods to foster excellence in teaching, uncovered evidence about learning, and examined the elements of what constitutes excellent teaching and student coaching. Furthermore, in 2015 I earned a mentoring award as well as a Prize for Excellence and Leadership in Education from a highly ranked university. I have served as a pre medical advisor to undergraduate students, dissertation chair and a reader for masters papers, as well as a faculty mentor for a University of Chicago, Chapin Hall fellowship. In addition to her current role as an admissions consultant and faculty member, Dr. Nsiah-Jefferson has served as a Congressional Fellow, a researcher at Columbia University, the Director of Health Disparities at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, a Policy Analyst at Harvard Law School, a Research Scientist for the State of New Jersey, and a visiting scholar and a fellow at the University of Pittsburgh and Morgan State University. In these positions, she focused on racial and gender inequities in health, education, and social status. These experiences have provided her with a well-rounded and unique perspective on career trajectories for students and what it takes to become a seasoned professional.
