Guilherme and Nilson and their crew were great to work with! They fixed structural issues in my floor, did flooring, framing new dry wall, all excellent. They were pretty responsive and easy to work with. They were honest and fair and I was very happy with their work. Definitely recommend.

I can not recommend DNS enough. This family owned business is the best contractor we worked with this summer. And renovating our home we had to work with several. This is a family owned business of incredibly hardworking men who respond in a timely manner, give a fair estimate and don’t try to haggle price. They showed up exactly when they said they would (within a week of agreeing to the final estimate) and the work took exactly how long they said it would (less than 2 days for a 25’ x6’ front porch. They were there as soon as the sun rise and didn’t leave each day until their work was done and cleaned up. The deck looks beautiful and we couldn’t be happier! 10/10 would recommend.

My experience with DNS Construction has been great. This past week, we had them redo 3 porches. Along the way there were a few hiccups which included finding out one porch needed new supports- which we didn’t plan for originally for the project. The team at DNS had no trouble taking care of it quickly to make the porch safe again. I can’t thank them enough for their hard work. I’m impressed by their work ethic, responsiveness, and willing to please their customers. I would definitely hire DNS again for other projects.

DNS was so great to work with. We were having a difficult time finding a contractor to rebuild two sets of outdoor stairs for us, but DNS stepped up to the task without issue. We worked with Guilherme who was kind, responsive, and quick to answer questions. DNS worked quickly and did not leave any lingering construction materials after the project was complete, which was a relief to not worry about our dog stepping on anything. The stairs are very well constructed. Guilherme kept us updated when construction was occurring and when it was delayed due to weather. Im so grateful to have safe stairs back hour deck! Thank you, DNS!

I had a mixed experience with D&S, but the results were spectacular so it deserves a full “excellent” rating.
Pros: Their work was amazing. We wanted a 10’ x 20’ deck with a 4’ x 17’ walkway leading from our porch stairs to the main deck. They said it would only take one or two days. I didn’t believe them, but they did it in one day plus a couple of hours the second day including clean up. It was over 90 degrees and sunny the whole first day, and they worked for over 12 hours to build the majority of the deck. The second day it only took a little over 2 hours to finish and clean up. My yard is VERY uneven, and they made the deck level and true. I’m extremely happy with their work.
Cons: The only con is communication. I planned to start immediately after hiring D&S, but I had question before they started. It would take a day to answer a question and they rarely answered the phone when I called. It was frustrating. I also chose to buy the materials and asked for a materials list. The list was vague (eg “one box of nails for decking” - what size box? What sizes nails?)
Other than communication delays, once they started, they were very polite, very professional, and most importantly, very skilled. Watching them work was humbling. I had thought maybe I would build the deck with my wife, but we both agreed that there was no way we would do the job D&S did. I look forward to enjoying our yard from our deck for years to come.
