Within mins of requesting a quote. Ed called back to discuss the project. He was out within a few days to look at what needed to be done. He discussed the good and bad of the previous Pros job. Explained what needed to be done and how long it would take to redo this project. It took him approximately 4 days to complete this project. The cost was well below the origninal cost to do this job. The workmanship is so much better. the materials are an upgrade from Pine to Poplar, Red Oak and pressure treated pine. Every step f this project was discussed and explained. The treads are not only secured to the stringers but also married to the risers. The stringers are secured to the landing and to the cement floor. The steps are level and correctly oriented. We are going to paint and seal the steps, risers, stringers and beadboard ourselves at a future date, so these pics reflect the that. I would definately hire this Pro again and refer him to my friends and family!! Great Job!!
It was a pleasure to have Eddie in our home. I had an idea and he improved on that idea to give us a finished product beyond what I hoped for! Very happy with the new doors!

I recently reached out to Legacy Carpentry for assistance with several home projects. Ed responded immediately and came out promptly to take a look. He was punctual, professional, and incredibly thorough in assessing the work I needed done.
Although the projects turned out to be smaller in scope than what Legacy Carpentry typically takes on, Ed still went above and beyond. Rather than just turning me away, he took the time to walk me through each project and provided clear, step-by-step instructions so I could complete them myself.
His honesty, generosity, and willingness to share his expertise really stood out. It's rare to find someone in the trades who is not only skilled but also so helpful and supportive, even when there's no job to be had. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ed and Legacy Carpentry to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and top-notch service.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
500 a day is what i aim for! Its how i keep food on the table, stay on track with my financial plan of financial independence and retire my wife to be a stay at home mom. Thats it, no other motives. I take my time so i dont have to backtrack or redo my work. You are paying for quality and the project done right the first time. If you want cheap do not bother contacting me.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to come out and see the project first hand and talk details of expectations and timeline. From there LFC gather materials list with price and discuss with the customer. Once we have an arrangement we ask for up to 50% of the project up front in order to purchase materials and begin the project.
*Depending on the scope of the project is may be more reasonable to ask for 1/3 for materials upfront and discuss check point in the project to be completed for the next 1/3 of the job until the project is completed.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad took me to the job sites when i was young and i wanted to build like him. At the time he did custom stairs and the projects my dad did made me want to get to his level.
