Ferreira's Cleaning Service did a fantastic job deep cleaning our house. Their work included oven cleaning, indoor windows, showers, ceiling fan and so much more. Our house is truly clean now! I would hire them again in a minute.

I reached out to Ferreira's Cleaning for a quote to clean my entire home, including the basement. I ultimately hired Millena, the owner, after our initial walk-through on May 18. During that walk-through, we went over every area of the home, including the basement. I specifically requested that the basement be reorganized and cleaned as part of the initial deep cleaning. After reviewing the entire home, she quoted me $280 for the initial deep cleaning and $130 for ongoing bi-weekly maintenance. Based on that walk-through and the detailed discussion about the basement, I reasonably assumed the quote included the basement. Before the first cleaning even took place, problems started. The initial cleaning was scheduled for a Monday, but on the day of the appointment Millena contacted me asking to move it to the following Saturday. I agreed but specifically asked that moving forward she not provide same-day notice for schedule changes because I had rearranged my own schedule to accommodate her. She apologized and thanked me for understanding. However, she never even provided me with a time for the rescheduled appointment. I had to reach back out to her just to confirm when she planned to arrive.
Then, just a day or two before the deep cleaning, she informed me that organizing the very same basement we had discussed during the walk-through would cost extra. She suddenly explained that organization services were billed separately at $40 per hour and estimated my basement would take 4–5 hours. Although I agreed because I wanted the work completed, I also made it clear this should have been disclosed during the original estimate. I specifically chose Ferreira's Cleaning over another company because I believed I was getting more value for the price quoted. Changing the pricing after the agreement had already been made was misleading. The scheduling issues continued. On June 12, we agreed on a 4:00 PM cleaning. Instead, after 4:00 PM she texted me saying she would not arrive until approximately 4:50 PM—nearly an hour late.
Following that cleaning, on July 2 I contacted her because the quality of work had noticeably declined. The floors had not been thoroughly mopped, there was still dirt and debris underneath the radiators, cobwebs remained in several corners, and there was still a film inside my bathtub. I also noticed she never confirmed or showed up for what should have been the next scheduled bi-weekly cleaning. I wanted to know what happened.
At that point she told me she wanted to schedule my next cleaning for July 7 because she would be traveling and returning on July 13. The only reason I even learned about her vacation was because I reached out to ask why she had skipped my cleaning and to address the poor quality of the previous visit. I informed her that I would also be out of the country from July 6–10. Despite giving her advance notice, she still texted me on July 6 trying to schedule a cleaning while I was away. I reminded her that I was out of the country and told her I would contact her once I returned. On the first business day after I returned, I reached out to let her know I was back. She did not respond until the following afternoon. We scheduled a cleaning for Friday, July 24 at 4:00 PM. That morning, at approximately 11:00 AM, I realized my workday was running longer than expected and texted her well in advance to let her know I would not be home until 5:00 PM instead of 4:00 PM. Her response was simply, "Alright, see you Monday." She never asked if Monday worked for me. She simply changed the appointment. The irony is unbelievable considering how many times she had changed my appointments with little or no notice and even arrived almost an hour late herself. I asked whether 5:00 PM was simply too late for her, and she replied that she had to pick up her son. Apparently flexibility only applies when it benefits her. Then Monday came... and went. She was a complete no-call, no-show.
