Yaro covered an open stud wall in our basement with plywood — clean, tight work: the door cased neatly, outlet and switch cut exact, every seam paint-ready. He answered my posting within minutes, gave a fair price, and showed up when he said he would — and the one morning he was running half an hour behind, he texted ahead to say so. That kind of communication is rare. The best part: my elderly mother-in-law asked for custom shim strips mid-job, and he ripped them from his scraps on the spot, patient and kind with her the whole time. We have already booked him again. Reliable, honest, good hands.
UPDATE, one week later: we called him back to rescue a seam job we had botched ourselves — cured spray foam, chipped paint, two bad joints. He answered the message at 1 AM, quoted a fair price from honest photos, showed up at 8 AM sharp on Labor Day, and stayed past his own noon deadline to finish rather than leave it half done. The joints look factory now. Same story twice: shows up, works clean, charges fair. He is our first call for anything handyman-sized.
