If your looking for the cheapest price to compare against another, please don't contact me, every repair is different and nobody can accurately give a price to repair a problem unless you overprice it to begin with. If you want the job done properly and costs kept under control I can do that. I carry liability insurance as required for all electricians in Massachusetts.

John is awesome. He came over for an assessment and explained what needed to be done. No oversell or pressure on getting things done right away. He installed a couple of backup switches for hooking up my heating system and refrigerator to my portable generator if needed. Also repaired a couple of outlets in the basement. He provided a fair quote and did a great job. Very responsive and professional. Thank you.

John has done lots of odd electrical jobs for me, always well done and always with a smile. He is very good at problem solving, whether it’s finding an underground wire or installing a replacement bathroom heater or installing a special electrical outlet for a new piece of equipment in my studio. John was a lifesaver. We called him in an emergency, a DIY project gone wrong. Instead of mocking us, he fixed everything while patiently but quickly and efficiently narrating his every step like the best teacher you ever had. He did beautiful work, quickly, at a fair price and was a joy to have in our home. He left a clean work site and he showed up within about an hour of our first call. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since I do smaller jobs, I generally work time and materials. When I show up to look at the work I am usually ready to start. No two jobs are alike, fees are discussed with each client. I do not try to upsell or make more of a project than is needed. I may bring up safety issues or improvements as I see them.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contact me with a text or phone call to discuss the project/problem. If I am not available to talk at that time I will call you back.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associates Degree in Electronic Technology, I have been a licensed master electrician since 1993 and have taken numerous seminars and all required continuing education in my trade. I worked for a town owned electric utility company since 1990 serving many functions including wiring inspector.
