Stepan replaced 2 broken sets of porch door handles for me. I had a hard time finding someone to do this job because the doors are not a standard size and the locks are an older style. So you couldn't swap out the entire handle and locking mechanism because the holes in the door don't match newer style locks. His solution was to cut the old handles off and replace them with new handles he purchased for me, leaving the existing locks intact. Stepan was extremely responsive in all of our communications and sent me photos from the Home Depot to make sure the handles he picked out with the same finish as the locks were what I wanted. He worked quickly and was very respectful. He made sure the door and lock were aligned properly and had me try the doors to make sure I was happy. And now we have brand new working handles that look like they came with the doors!

Stepan responded my inquiry right away and came over that day to hear about the job. He then came three additional days and helped with a variety of home projects including interior paint, carpentry (fixing broken shelves, hanging shelves, installing new doors), and also moved furniture and other heavy items out of our home and brought them to good will. He purchased all of the materials needed which was a huge convenience. He was friendly, professional, transparent with pricing, and did a great job with everything!

Stepan did a great job on our two tasks and did it in a professional manner. We met briefly and explained what we wanted and he completed the task, checking in with us when he found a better way to get it done. I was very impressed by Stepan and would hire him again.
