- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
According to a 2015 survey by the National Society of Accountants the average cost of professional tax preparation increased from $261 to $273. This is the national average for Form 1040 with Schedule A and a state tax return. According the about.com the average price for the Form 1040 plus Schedule A and one state return at H&R Block was $147 or $191 at Liberty Tax. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We take great pride in working with all of our clients. When meeting with a new client we spend additional time getting to know them and any/all specifics regarding their possible tax situations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nancy is a former MA Department of Revenue employee with 29 years of experience. Eighteen of those years were spent as a Supervisor of a group of six who audited returns for compliance in the sales tax, meals tax, personal income, corporate excise, withholding and partnerships. Nancy has a MST from Bryant University and is an Enrolled Agent. David has more that 25 years of experience preparing personal income, corporate, and fiduciary returns. He has worked in several CPA firms, as well as, individual small companies. David holds a BS degree, has done post graduate studies at Bryant University and is a Registered Tax Preparer.
