Went to Voc school for carpentry, worked in cabinet shop 12yrs, then got CDL to drive 10yrs, do most auto repairs myself and specialize in carpentry and all household handyman work from hanging a picture to remodeling a complete kitchen, any finish trim work. Have built many complete kitchens from scratch, as well as bookcases, built in cabinets, mantles, picnic tables, bench seats, Corn hole boards, crown molding and much more. My wife and I could not be happier with the work performed by Matthew. Matthew was incredibly responsive, professional, and handled all of the various tasks/projects around our house with the utmost care. We strongly recommend Matthew to anyone looking for the perfect fit for someone to help with various projects around the house at a great value. Just some of the projects completed by Matthew: installing cabinets in our laundry room (pictured), preparing our grill, firepit, and patio for summer, installing a sliding screen door on our porch, installing a knocker on our front door, and adjusting doors throughout our house that were slightly ajar. We will be contacting Matthew for future projects!

I hired Matthew to assemble the shed we purchased from Lowes. Matt was great to work with, quick to respond, great with communication and got the job done. He arrived promptly at the property and was professional & thoughtful about the work. He did a great job and cleaned up! For Matt customer is first priority. He tried to help us with everything he could. To save us money, Matt gave us roof covering and shingles for free so we didn’t need to buy them. It saved us ~300$. He is very dedicated, thorough and thoughtfull. The total job took 3 days to complete and during all this time he was working without even taking lunch breaks. I’ll definitely be calling him for all my future projects. Thank you Matt see you at the next job.

MATT LUND IS EXCELLENT!! I needed multiple safety repairs to property. From railings, basement vestible, new shed flooring, multiple steps repaired, foundation cracks, missing tile, missing vinyl siding, and more.... Being new to this app, I relied on excellent reviews online and called on Mr. Lund. Most of my communication was via text, but when I asked to speak verbally, he obliged with a quick response. Matt was enthusiastic, responded quickly & was friendly and easy to work with. Per my request, Matt was even able to get the job sooner than later, which I appreciated. Matt arrived promptly at the property and was professional & thoughtful about the work. He did a great job and cleaned up! (Also, I appreciated his honesty in telling me if something was not his specialty (but he is great at all things) I'm very happy with the completed job & it was done within the estimated time. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was taught most of the basic carpentry skills from a family business starting as a teenager and then took carpentry at Blackstone Valley Vocational Technical High school and was one of the first students selected for a co-op job to be able actually go to a job instead of carpentry shop every other week in high school
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was always a hands on type of person since as long as I can remember, I went to vocational school for carpentry and got a full time job right out of high school doing custom kitchens/vanities/bars, and all other types of cabinets along with doing finish trim in newly built homes
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My most recent project is a bathroom remodel which consisted of doing a beadboard wainscoting around the bathroom, replacing the floor with a vinyl plank floor, and I also built a 42” vanity from scratch because the customer couldn’t find exactly what they wanted in store
