FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It depends on the job at hand for data recovery I have a range from $300 to $800 for easy to complex issues as long as I don't to physically open a drive. If platters or heads need to be replaced then it can run from $1800 to $2000. For computer repairs and other types of jobs, I charge by the hour $150 minimum of 1 hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a customer reaches out with an issue, I typically start with a phone call to understand the problem and provide an initial estimate. Following this, we'll schedule a meeting at their preferred location - either at their place or a public spot that suits them. This allows me to assess the situation firsthand and discuss the details of the project
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With over a decade of hands-on experience, I've developed a strong expertise in data recovery, successfully extracting data from a wide range of storage devices and systems. As a self-taught professional, I've honed my skills through trial and error, often finding creative solutions to complex problems. I enjoy tinkering with technology, figuring out how things work, and adapting them to meet my needs – whether that means repurposing hardware or finding novel ways to recover data.
