About
I focus on helping students build confidence in the water while making swimming something they genuinely enjoy. Whether you’re a beginner learning the basics or looking to refine technique and improve endurance, I tailor each lesson to your goals and pace. My approach emphasizes strong fundamentals, efficient movement, and developing comfort in the water—skills that translate into long-term progress.
Swimming is not only a critical life skill but also one of the best activities for lifelong health, and I enjoy helping others experience that firsthand.
I grew up swimming competitively and was a Massachusetts Division II State Champion and school record holder at Concord-Carlisle High School. I continued at Bowdoin College (Division III), where I also broke a program record. I’ve trained extensively with top coaches through the North Shore Swim Club and Harvard’s Technique Swim Camp, and bring that experience into every lesson.
I work best with students who are motivated and ready to improve, and I aim to make each session both productive and enjoyable.

I can’t recommend Sean enough. He doesn’t just teach technique, he takes the time to actually get to know you and where you’re at, and builds the lessons around that. He was always willing to find the spot and the schedule that worked best for me, which made a huge difference in actually sticking with it.
If you’re nervous about getting in the water for the first time, or you already swim and want to level up, Sean is the person to go with.

What's better than a day at Walden Pond with Sean Morris? Especially before getting a iced coffee at the local Dunkin. Anyways, Sean was a great instructor. Not only was the technical advice great, the philosophy of swimming improvement and practical tips were great too. He wanted to know what my goals were for swimming and catered the lesson accordingly. Nice!
