Julian and co are awesome to work with! Prior to the work, they visited to take a look around and listen to my needs. Between the estimate and the appointment, Julian was kind enough to go back and forth with me on ideas for placement and purchase recommendations.
They arrived right on time, and while on-site, again worked with me to make sure everything was getting wired up how I liked it. They even added a power outlet for me for my rack and fixed some out-of-code electrical well within the original estimate. They found great paths for cabling, and showed me the conduits and crawlspaces they used so that I was able to add a couple more myself since they worked. They cleaned up some old cable company coax wiring for me as well, which was great. They did a good job with ports on the walls despite my difficult horse hair plaster - one or two spots crumbled but they spackled it up for me and was an easy paint job thereafter.
Overall was really happy with the work (not to mention the fact they finished under estimate) - I plan to have them back to do some home theater wiring when time frees up.

Julian and Dennis were communicative, skillful, and worked hard to get the entire project done in a reasonable amount of time. We have an old, complicated house and they traced and restored a handful of old, inactive 5E lines, as well as installing several new Cat 6a drops. They also removed an old disorganized panel, mounted a new one, and cleaned everything up. Great work. Hire them.

Julien did a great job diagnosing and replacing my Ring Doorbell, as well as giving me some troubleshooting steps should issues happen in the future that I can resolve on my own!

It was a great pleasure to have Julian do the wiring reinstallation of our home. He was punctual and professional, flexible to think out of the box and suggest ways of overcoming some structural challenges of my house which was built before the days of the internet. He was also ready to be called back in case we have some wiring problems in the future. The whole house was rewired in a short time and the clean-up was perfect. I strongly recommend General Network, and Julian was a breath of fresh air!

We had the folks from General Network come in to "replace" the hard wiring in our house. When they showed up for the initial walk through the told me that they didn't think the wiring need to be "replaced" and it would be better if they just gave us a tune up. They let us know that even with the tune up we would be able to get up to 1 GB download speeds with our existing wiring. They could have made a lot more money off of us by letting me just replace my Cat5 with Cat6 wiring, but they recommended the best option for us.
We agreed to the tune up as opposed to the re-wire. This was a 1 day job in which they re-terminated and tested all of our wiring. There was a lot of tracing, testing and moving of wires to be done. We had the guys come do it while we were working from home. They promised us we wouldn't have any interruptions to service during the day. There were times where it got a bit loud, but that's to be expected. During our workday we didn't lose any connectivity. They waited until after we were done working to take down our modem and router combo and replace it with a modem eero setup we had.
All in all I would recommend these guys to anyone. The amount of work they did compared to the cost to do it was fantastic value for my dollar. I really wish I took a before photo to illustrate what a mess it was.
