Zen Windows was founded in 1998 after deciding it was time to create a totally new way of shopping for window replacement. After doing hours of research on line I decided to checkout Zen Windows, a company I never heard of before. I came across their name during my research for Best Area Window Companies. I was intrigued by the opportunity to get a price without having to sit through the usual strong arm sales pitches that most of the companies do.It was quite refreshing to deal with Matt the owner. After submitting some pictures of the windows I wanted to replace (and checking my spam folder) I found a proposal for the job. After doing an upgrade to triple pane glass and receiving a second proposal it was a done deal for me. The triple pane upgrade was more for sound deadening than insulation for I live on a very busy main road. It has made a huge difference.During the installation process one window was not the correct size so they had to come back a few weeks later to install the correct one. This was not a big deal.A very nice feature of how Matt works is that there is no money up front and you pay once everything is done and youre 100% satisfied with the job.I have to say that other companies could learn a great deal from Zens business philosophy. There was absolutely no pressure and Matt works with/ for you during the entire process. He replies quickly to any questions or concerns you may have and is thoroughly knowledgeable in his business. Its refreshing to see that there is a company that does things the way it should be done.The quality of the windows is top of the line. I dont think the price is the lowest I might have found if I looked around at every company out there but then again I realize you get what you pay for and Zen is a top notch company with great quality and good people to deal with. I have no qualms about recommending Matt and his team to my family and friends.

We are selling a 1950's house for family. We changed a small living room into a much needed bedroom. I hadn't realized that the picture window did not open. I chose Zen based on Internet reviews. I usually know the contractors I work with, but we were working hard.They did such a good job. The window was measured perfectly, it was priced appropriately, and installed on time. I had three showings in the afternoon. The window was installed in the morning. Except for it's beauty, you'd never even know.Thanks!

The Zen team was professional and were able to answer any questions. Installation was seamless in an old house (70 years old) to replace old single pane windows with a large picture window.Received a fair and reasonable quote that was the also final price - so no hidden fees, cost or extras. Will definitely recommend and use again.

Zen Windows Boston sells a quality product at a reasonable price.Their installers are experienced and do a good job.I have used Zen on two separate occasions and plan to hire them again.One of the best things is no window salesman comes to your house, and you don't pay anything until job is complete.

Perfect products and installation! Matt was most accommodating and explained everything all through the window/sliders replacement project. Matt is most responsive and a gentlemen to work with. I highly recommend Matt and Zen Windows - quality 100%.
