- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My husband, (this is Brittani) had a good job, working 7-4pm, Monday-Thursday, insurance, dental, paid vacations, and great co-workers. But Friday was our family day, and when they said start working over time or leave, he left. He didn't want to keep doing this year after year. Going to work, coming home tired, no energy for family, start again, weekend comes, sleep in, work week starts again. We weren't growing as a family. And really we didn't have anything to be proud of.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Cleaning of any sort, on any schedule, and most recently pet sitting. Which works out well because we have a lot of experience with a wide variety of animals. My husband lived on a farm when he was young, I worked on one (Brittani), and we've owned so many pets.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We actually recently started working together with a wedding planner to transform venues. We just did the Union Station, in Worcester. It was a great. It feels good to work hard for an event that means so much for a new couple.
