We just bought a house and I wanted to get the chimney attached to the wood stove cleaned before any usage. From start to finish, this was a wonderful experience. Communication was always quick, professional, and honest which I really appreciated. On the scheduled day, he was here in the time slot identified and it was clear the pride and knowledge that he has. He explained what he was doing and why. Showed me parts of the stove and during the entire appointment, went above and beyond to not only do high quality work, but also to make sure I understood what he was doing and why - and how to use my stove safely and well. I had a couple additional questions which he was able to answer immediately. His knowledge, professionalism, and amazing results have ensured that I will continue to use The Duke’s.

Duke’s Chimney Sweep was an Awesome find on Thumbtack. John from Duke’s is very professional as well as accommodating to my schedule. In addition, the company is extremely responsive. Within 24 hours of contacting Duke’s Chimney Service through Thumbtack, John was able to stop by my home to diagnose the issue. Fortunately it was a small fix that required the installation of a damper top-hat to stop bugs and rain from entering into my living room via the chimney/fireplace. I’d hire Duke’s again got any future service and maintenance.

They did a great job with getting my fireplace serviced and also cleaned my dryer vent. They have great customer service and try to go above and beyond to please customers. They were very accommodating with a last minute request. I would highly recommend them.

They did a great job with my fireplace repair. The technician showed up on time and was very responsive to all of my questions. He cleaned the chimney and then gave me an estimate for my repair. He made sure everything was cleaned up. He knew I had cats and so before he turned on the vacuum cleaner he checked with me first to make sure he wouldn’t scare them. I was able to promptly schedule the follow up appointment for the repair. He showed up on time, completed the job, and even added in a free dryer vent cleaning. When he saw that my dryer hose was loose, he let me know and then proceeded to go ahead and fix it. I would not hesitate to hire them again!

I used Duke’s when I moved into a new house and wanted to get the chimney ready for use. Duke’s was super responsive to my initial inquiry and throughout the process. First task of as a chimney cleaning and inspection. They showed me photos of the a few concerns they had and recommendations for repairs. They came back out a week later to make the repairs. Their tech took extra care to keep the house clean throughout the work. Duke’s also through in a dryer vent cleaning to the project. Overall, very satisfied with the work, communication, and cost effectiveness. I would recommend.

We take pride in offering prices that are about 20% cheaper then any of our competition.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Asking questions about their project, going over specific details of the property, setting up a sweep and inspection. We like to do a sweep before an inspection to ensure its properly cleaned so we dont miss anything during the inspection. If a chimney isn't properly cleaned it can hide defects in the chimney that might not be visible due to the chimney not being clean.
