Sheivon is a superb personal trainer! My son plays football and I hired her to help him increase his speed so he could run a better time in the 40yrd dash. He was running 5.0 when he started with SAY Nutrition and Fitness and within about 3wks his form improved tremendously and and by around 5-6wks he was running 4.8, then in another 2wks 4.7! That was just amazing! Not only did she help to improve his speed, but she also helped him to stay focus with little motivational talks and counseling; she even gave him advice about his nutrition as an athlete. Working with Sheivon was a complete game changer. I was looking to lose weight and while I am familiar with the gym I never really had any formal lessons on posture/mechanics. From day one she will stress the importance of mechanics! Part of the regimen was her very detailed diet plan that she provides specifically for you, she even takes into consideration your likes and dislikes as its much easier for you to follow a program with food you dont mind eating. I was also training for a weekend Ragnar in the woods so she was able to provide me a weekend guide that would be easier to transport and supply me the correct nourishment for my event. From the moment I met her she pointed out flaws in my posture and began working with me in the gym, helping me focus on my areas of weakness. She will work with you on whatever your goals are and will push you to reach new heights. She is also flexible in her availability to ensure prompt service. I cant thank her enough for her time and effort! Even to this day with me being over 3,000 miles away she has been available if I had questions. From our first phone conversation, Sheivon really listened and understood exactly what I was looking for. She even threw out a few suggestions for free. I really enjoyed working with Sheivon. She is very knowledgeable and she doesn't use "cookie-cutter" techniques. She tailors a plan to you based on your health issues, body type, etc...She also tells you like it is, sometimes it may not be what you want to hear but her goal is to help you get to where you want to be. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing is depending on customer needs. On average a person pays $50 per hour for personal training or $300 for 8 weeks of nutrition services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?There is a new client information form which helps me get to know you, your history and your goals. From there we would have a discussion, and determine if I am equipped to help you and whether you would like to proceed with my services.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have NASM and NSCA CPT, Sports Nutrition Certification and M.S. in Applied Nutrition (concentration fitness and Sports) from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
