- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer free consultations to all clients. There are no "hidden strings". Regardless of whether you choose to hire me, you will never be charged for the consultation. I charge my clients based on a sliding-scale basis, so the less you make, the less I charge and the more you make, the more I charge. I base my fees based on where the client falls on the Maryland Legal Services Corporation (MLSC) guidelines. I guarantee though that my fees are below market average.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I hold a free consultation with the client and inform them of their legal options and smart next steps in their case. I will then evaluate their monthly/yearly salary and suggest a price for services. I work hard to try and find a price that will work for both myself and the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed member of the Maryland State Bar. I worked for almost 2 years representing sexual assault survivors throughout the state of Maryland in high-conflict proceedings. Prior to that, I was a volunteer attorney at the Legal Aid Bureau for 9 months, representing indigent defendants in a variety of legal matters. As a result, I have a great deal of experience in a wide range of legal issues and working in high-conflict areas.
