John C. arrived on time and inspected a crack in my home’s exterior wall. It was immediately evident that he was knowledgeable in his craft. While he could have attempted to pass the crack off as needing repair he was honest, stating the repair was not structural and a simple handyman would suffice for the repairs I needed. If you want an honest company to issue an educated bid, look no further.

Steve promptly contacted me to scope out the nature of my need and to identify how he/his company could be of assistance. During our original conversation, it was communicated that I had already signed a contract with another service provider but welcomed any additional professional opinions. Despite his heavily scheduled day, Steve took the time to visit my home to perform a VERY thorough inspection, introducing more innovative and efficient solutions! Steve's non-cookiecutter approach was a WOW factor-- as a result of this, I opted to retain BWN over my original contractor.

It started out pretty good, the rep who came to look at my basement was very personable and understanding of my needs, and very thorough with writing down all the details. But then the workers showed up, and they didn’t do everything that was listed on the contract. I was initially told the work will take 2 days, possibly 2.5 days, and it did take 2.5 days, but on the 3rd day (1/2 day), they seemed to be in a rush, and I didn’t check the basement before they left. I addressed the dehumidifier was supposed to be set up so that the drain goes into the well, the condensation line from the HVAC was supposed to be too but they didn’t seem to have any clue they were supposed to. I had to point out so many things, and that’s probably why it went longer. They did show up on time, but scheduling the follow up appointment was nightmare. The day I scheduled the follow up appointment to fix the issues, they did not show up, and they didn’t even give me a call. So I called them and they didn’t give me clear answer to why they didn’t but told me they could stop by next day or day after. It was reallly frustrating to talk to this person in the office because he kept talking over me. Finally the follow up service team showed up, and they did a good job, but again, they missed one huge crack I mentioned. Also they fixed the drain pipe but created another issue. I am hesitant to call them again, and if I can fix it myself, I might just have to do that, it’s really stressful to set up schedule with them, since their service call depends on the installment schedule, and they don’t prioritize the follow up appointment.
