Water got into my basement 5 years ago and I had it fixed then. But then, earlier this year, the issue occurred again after a water main break on the block. After having spent over $3K back then, I didn't want to have yet another big hole in my pocket so I had gutters installed. That didn't work. Then, my handyman who is great all around, did the one thing that should not have been done as per Angelo as well as another waterproofer I had checked in with: added concrete to the window well. The reason to not do that is it puts pressure against the existing walls (I still don't totally understand why that makes things worse but it sure didn't fix my issue to begin with). I was about to go with an interior, water management solution, which included a sump pump for a total of nearly $7K but they became less responsive to my requests plus it was higher than the initial quote I got from Key Consultants. But then, Key Consultants' quote shot up to nearly $8K and it got worse: it hit $11K. I was not initially happy obviously. By this point, I had spent around $4K already (between the exterior waterproofing 5 yrs ago, the gutter and the cement). Key Consultants recommended an outdoor sump pump and about 20 feet of manual digging down to the footer along the garage wall and to where the water was getting into the basement. Since the work had already started, I really didn't think I had any choice but to agree to the $11K figure but I did ask that I get pics as the work progressed. Not only did I get pics but I got a video clip or two and I could really see from it all, that this was a big job. They pulled up tree roots that were impacting the foundation so now I'm relieved that I got it done right and I'm especially relieved to have a sump pump for which they had an electrician set up.

I worked with Angelo and Jacob for a crack in the wall in my basement. Angelo diagnosed the problem and provided an estimate. Jacob and his crew came a few days later to take care of the issue. Once they removed the drywall, the crack was much bigger than expected (although this was no surprise to Angelo, which is why they removed as much drywall as they did). The crew put down sheets and plastic to not dirty my carpet and got straight to work. It took them a couple of hours but they sent me pictures along the way so I didn’t have to step into their workspace. They not only fixed the crack but also installed some type of drainage that connected to my existing drainage system. They also replaced my sump pump which was in dire need of attention. Very grateful for their work and easing my mind as the crack caused a leak that was stressing me out. Would definitely recommend working with Key Consultants for your waterproofing needs.

I recently had a stressful situation when water started seeping in underneath my basement threshold door. Thankfully, Key Consultants LLC Waterproofing was able to come out to my house on short notice. Their team arrived exactly on time and were professional from the get-go. The crew wasted no time assessing the problem and getting to work. They installed new Spee-D drain outside of my door and even created channel system along the inside of my basement door leading to my sump pump ensuring I would not face these same water issues again. They completed the repairs in a timely and efficient manner, explaining everything they were doing along the way. I was incredibly impressed with their work ethic and expertise of the crew. I highly recommend Key Consultants. My basement has needed waterproofing for a long time. Angelo was out to look at issue within 60 minutes after initial contact. He installed French drain and sump pump. His crew was punctual, professional and friendly. There was a walk through prior to work being started and again when work was done. Everything was explained to me. Finally feel as though my house is healthy when I walk in

Angelo came out to investigate my water leak in the basement. It turned out to be coming from the outside due to the negative grading of the ground next to the outside wall. He was very knowledgeable, honest and had recommended a number of things that I could do to remedy the situation. I appreciated his honesty and would definitely recommend this company.
