About
We are a Saxophone quartet and play jazz standards in the post bop style of Sonny Stitt, Hank Mobley, Sonny Rollins and others of the Blue Note era. We appeared regularly at Twins Jazz between 2018 and 2020. We are all highly accomplished and dedicated to our art. In addition, we are punctual, and very professional.

The Izmirlian Ensamble was a great addition to the party. They played great music and a nice variety also. I first came across Grant Izmrlian and his fellow musicians

Grant and his group have played our annual holiday party for numerous years. They are consistently the highlight of the party. Very adaptable to the mood of the audience and a wide repertoire of holiday and standard jazz music. Highly recommend.

I hired the Izmirlian Ensemble to play at the Goshen Hunt Club Ball on three occasions over the past several years. The music was unbelievably sublime and lended so artfully to the ambience at our event. They arrived on time and exhibited the highest level of professionalism. I highly recommend the Izmirlian Ensemble!

Grant was such a pleasure to work with. We coordinated in advance and made sure things were organized and in place for our wedding. And folks loved the music and the energy that the quartet exuded. The band was incredibly classy and was a great way to kick off our wedding celebrations as folks arrived and during the reception.
