I posted a job on Thumbtack to fix our (seemingly) broken garbage disposal. I had several quotes ranging from $97-225, but Douglas contacted me and said to call him, and he'd walk me through it. Sure enough, I called him, he walked me through the repair, I bought the wrench I needed for $5 at the hardware store, and it worked! Thanks for saving me at least $100, Douglas. Now I know how to do this repair myself, and I know exactly who I'll call for all my future plumbing needs :-)

Our newish dishwasher went on the fritz and he came out on a Sat. am. Upon seeing the unit he said he would check a few things although he was dubious that the unit could be worthwhile again. He said if it worked send him a check and if not no worries. Very personable and professional.
