FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is custom for the most part. Generally, in Jan/Feb of each year we offer a 50% discount on limited sessions for new clients only. If a client purchases a package of (10) sessions they can save approximately 10% on their commitment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, we will begin with a fitness evaluation so that there is more accountability to reach client goals within a specific time-frame. The client's budget and level of commitment usually determine how extensive the evaluation will be. A basic screening will include a body fat composition and BMI (body mass index) screening...along with at least one measure pertaining directly to the goal (i.e. if client wants to build upper body strength we will conduct strength tests for the upper body...if fat loss is the goal, body fat screenings and circumference measurements of the specific target areas). Our comprehensive evaluations include: Resting Metabolism Analysis Nutritional Analysis with a Registered Dietitian VO2 Max Graded Cardiovascular Test (includes a "moving" metabolism test) Strength Testing of all major muscle groups Flexibilty Analysis (using goniometer) Kinetic Chain Analysis (evaluating the flow of all major joints in the body so that strength and flexibility imbalances can be corrected to avoid future injury). Although we have some clients who opt to use a more simplified approach, we make great use of wearable technology (i.e. Fit Bit, BodyMedia Sensewear, UP Bands etc) to to help clients "build a consciousness" of their current situation and become equipped in practical ways to make the changes that will produce results.
