Introduction: Hello! I’m Bernardo. I have been playing music for 18 years. I recently earned a bachelor’s degree in jazz guitar from Towson University. I also have 7 years of experience teaching privately and commercially to all playing levels and all ages. My teaching experience has taught me how to change my teaching approach to cater to how a student prefers to learn. I know how to get a point across in multiple ways, and I keep students interested and excited about their lessons. I take great pride in the success and growth of my students. Teaching is rewarding work where I not only push students but also myself into the next level of playing and listening.

As a beginner, I was in search for a patient and dependable guitar instructor. Bernardo went above and beyond to ensure my learning experience was fun and productive. He did not bog me down with technicalities alone but rather instilled a sense of listening needed for aspiring musicians to succeed. Most importantly, he taught me the value of being responsible for my own learning experience, I took his advice seriously and excelled. Thank you Bernardo!
