Charlay is a great person and hair stylist. She gives thorough hair consultations and focuses on "healthy hair". I look forward to my hair appointments with Charlay because I know I will always leave the hair salon looking beautiful. She is definitely the best stylist in the DMV.

She took her time with me and really figured out the best hair regimen for me. My hair was so damaged and dry, but charlay cut and conditioned it perfectly! I'll be seeing her regularly because my hair loves her!

Charlay was amazing! I have natural 4b/c hair and it can be rather dry if not up kept. However, Charlay treated my hair and I left with a flowy blowout. I definitely enjoyed not being put/left under a dryer like most stylists do with natural hair. She a personable and professional stylist.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I believe it is my calling. Ever since I can remember I've had a natural gift in the art of hair. I'm a very visually creative person and the styling comes so naturally to me even if when I went months without doing it! It's just a God given ability that makes me feel so alive and at peace.
