FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each job is given its own quote which contains a scope of work and pricing unique to that job and in certain cases also provides options to choose from. If the customer is happy with the quote and price they need only sign the contract statement and return with a deposit that is specified. That is how easy the process to get underway is.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually a customer will have some idea of the project he/she has in mind. Pictures of similar projects also help. From a discussion with a client and a visit to the work site, Mountain Woodworks will generate scaled renderings to give the customer an idea of the project. This is usually enough to get the project under contract. After signing and remitting a deposit, the customer and Daniel Parker work hand in hand honing in on the exact design. When the customer is satisfied with the design they sign off on it and the project is ready to go in to production. After completion the project is delivered and installed at the work site.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Mountain Woodworks has worked with Residential Homeowners, Commercial Businesses, Architects, Builders, Interior Designers, and Other Woodworking Businesses.
