I have lived in my townhouse for 6 years. It's pretty tall, and heat rises, but it always seemed to me like the upstairs was way too hot. I've casually asked HVAC techs, attic insulators, home improvement type people over the years about this and gotten various "ehh, it's not a big deal" responses. This year, I decided I was tired of sleeping in a hot bedroom and I posted for the job on here. Of the people I had come look at it, Christian was one of only two people who in my opinion correctly diagnosed the problem, and the only one to suggest a comprehensive solution that made sense to me based on what I've observed over the years. Basically, whoever built or replaced the roof covered up the soffit vents and also didn't cut a big enough ridge vent. Valiant's team cut a new ridge vent for me and replaced the soffit vent covering with something vented. The effect was dramatic and immediate. My upstairs is much more comfortable, still a little hotter than the rest of the house, but I think at normal levels. Check out the picture to see how much my electricity use went down this July compared to last July, when the average temperature was exactly the same. I would definitely recommend Valiant for any jobs you may have.

Valiant Construction did a roof repair & report the same day I contacted them the process was simple as they performed an estimate then immediately performed the repairs needed. I would definitely work with them again & highly recommend you do the same.
