We hired Budget Landscaping to do property cleanup, weeding, lay new mulch, mulching dead leaves, trimming, mowing, deep edging and cutting back some very tall trees, and hauling away the cut and dead branches. I could not be more pleased for three important reasons: 1) Owner, Nelson Morales, came out on the evening of the very day we spoke to assess and provide his affordable estimate, 2) He arranged to come on a Sunday! to get the job done, and 3) Nelson and his crew did an outstanding job. I couldn't be more pleased - and relieved. Budget Landscaping will be doing our maintenance now. So highest kudos to Nelson and crew with my sincere thanks and appreciation for a job well done!

Budget Landscape did a very professional job mulching our large flower beds. I had seen their reviews on Yelp and Angie’s list and, even though there were mixed reviews, (some people were not able to make contact with them) I could tell that the work they did was top notch and their prices were reasonable. I called the number from Yelp and left a message and then realized I could text them as well so also did that and receive a reply shortly thereafter. I let Nelson know that my yard needed mulching and that in the past it had taken 8-9 cubic yards of mulch. I didn’t have a lot of weeding to do. We set up the time for the following weekend, keeping things flexible because of all the rain we keep getting. I liked that Nelson gave me a date based on my description and that I didn’t have to wait until he came out to estimate the job, which saved us both time. We texted a few times so that he could ask what color mulch, etc. The weather forecast changed so that the crew was able to come a day earlier than planned. Nelson apologized for contacting me “late” the night before to see if they could come a day earlier but that was fine with me bc I wanted to get it done before more rain came. On the day he planned to come, he let me know what time they were coming and kept me well informed with updated times, still arriving in plenty of time to go over my somewhat picky instructions (keep the clover, pull the other weeds, keep this little tree but not that one., etc). He let me know that he would be leaving the premises after he dropped the crew off but gave me the name of some of them so I could continue to tweak the work being done. The weather was super humid (so what else is new) so mostly I stayed in the house but I went out a couple of times and the crew checked with me about removing or keeping certain little plants here and there. They really worked hard- I think there were at least 4 guys, and they unloaded the entire trailer full of mulch and put it down super thick just as I has asked. They also quickly cut neat edges around the flower beds and weed-whacked the overgrown edges of our flagstone walkway. The next thing I knew, they were knocking on the door letting me know they were finished. Before paying them, I quickly ran around and checked everything and all was great. I will definitely use them again for leaf removal, spring cleanup, and if I need any hardscapes. The have the best price and do great work! I’m very happy I found them.
