Hi! I'm a professional concert violinist with over 22 years of international performance and teaching experience.
My teaching approach blends the time-tested methods of the European Masters with my own proven techniques and accelerated learning strategies. This allows students to progress quickly and confidently, whether they’re beginners or advanced players.
Many of my students have won competitions and earned scholarships to top conservatories like Oberlin, Manhattan School of Music, and Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts.
I welcome students of all ages and levels, offering both in-person lessons at my Burtonsville, MD studio and virtual lessons for those farther away. Lessons are tailored to your goals and emphasize both technical mastery and expressive artistry.
While I specialize in classical training, I also teach a range of genres including jazz, folk, tango, chamber and orchestral repertoire -providing you with a well-rounded and inspiring musical education.

Adina is a wonderful teacher. I can see how much my son lights up during his violin lessons with her. She is incredibly patient and focuses on building a strong foundation as he begins learning to play. We highly recommend her!

I’m so impressed with Miss Adina! She’s a truly professional and caring piano teacher. From the very first class, I noticed a big difference between the online lessons my daughter used to take and the in-person class with Miss Adina. She immediately corrected my daughter’s posture, hand, and finger position, and helped her go back to the basics — which made a huge improvement right away. Ms.Adina is a wonderful teacher. She is very patient with a beginner. My daughter recently changed a violin teacher to Ms.Adina. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$200/month weekly 30 minutes
$280/month weekly 45 minutes
$340/month weekly 60 minutes
Discounts: I provide discounts when more than one family member takes lessons regularly with me. Lessons are scheduled once a week. The duration of lesson is determined by each student’s level and their age.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free online/or phone consultation where I listen carefully to what the customer wants to achieve. I develop and customize a lesson plan. I provide exercises and choose a repertoire that will accelerate their progress. All my students progress quickly !
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained in Europe and started my music education at an early age. I worked with famous pedagogues and musicians and participated in many international festivals and competitions. I have a master degree in violin performance and a master degree in Music Education. I enjoy performing and teaching my students!
