Introduction: I primarily teach water color. As far as my professional life is concerned, for 10 years I studied with an artist closely associated with famed American Artist, Andrew Wyeth. The technique I learned was known as the "Brandywine Tradition of Painting" ... A method associated with the Wyeth family. In addition, through my formative years I studied with my Uncle, a renown artist . As such, my primary teaching goals are to guide each student toward a method and technique which speaks to them. To me painting breaks down into two techniques. 1. External: painting a visual object ... something you can see. 2. Internal: Expressing an emotion ... feeling. They can be done individually ... or combined.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$13.00 per session. Sessions are 10 weeks in length. Total of 10 weeks ...($130.00) due at First session. However, anyone attending the first session and feel that my method of teaching is not what they are looking for, will only be charged for the one session. Also time lost due to bad weather, or by me will be made up.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I treat each of my students as individuals. As such each one has different objectives. It is up to me to help each student progress to their individual goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Private study Childhood years studying with my Uncle. Teenage and early 20's with a Number of artists each of whom helped me to develop my individual style. 10 years studying with an artist associated with Andrew Wyeth.
