I've had a very positive experience with Clear Choice of MD - the owner personally has been on-site for all of the pre-planning and a majority of the actual work. He has been sending regular updates and there are NO surprises. The product I selected was fairly expensive (that's my own doing) but the price on labor and material markup was well within established norms for work in the VA/MD area. I would go so far as to say the total cost on the lower end of the spectrum given the quality of the work and the little extras that CCofMD did to make the job right -as opposed to other places that tack on changes and extra fees for every little nuanced problem that might come up along the way. I enjoyed working with these guys so much I will hire them again when I am ready to do more work on the exterior of my house.

Alan and company did an excellent job. The work was first rate and performed with care Alan is very responsive and very clear, with no hidden charges or unexpected fees. If the job might encounter added cost, like my old uncertain sub roofing, he is very clear up front my jobs were done below the max estimate. I would definitely use Clear Choice again without hesitation.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes we have a standard price list for products and additional services. Most of the jobs require on site inspection for accurate and competitive quote.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If I have enough information on the quote and some pictures if Im comfortable I can quote over email. Most jobs require inspection for proper job estimate. If the customer accepts the quote, there will be an official contract written and deposit required unless the job is financed. I estimate installation date at time of inspection.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are licensed and hold all required certifications for any products we install.
