In-Vision Fotography

Introduction: I grew up in Riga, the capital of Latvia. I was given my first camera -- a Russian Zenit 3M, together with a developing tank and chemicals -- when I was 10 years old. It was the best birthday present I have ever had, and it started a lifelong love of photography that has only become stronger as the years passed. Since those early days, I have had a lot of cameras and taken many photographs. When the time came I found the change to digital technology fascinating, I took a lot of courses on both cameras and image editing techniques. But the technology is only the means to an end, and it is the creation of the final image that is so dear to me. I find that my background and experience brings a unique perspective to my work, and that I can imagine -- and shoot -- photographs that show a world that is beautiful in a timeless way, or that captures a moment in an unforgettable vignette.
