MD -> VA Move, Hourly Christy and BK made sure my family got the best value for our move and that it went smoothly. Pros: - Christy, BK and Movers were all pleasant, professional and kind - The movers showed up on time, were friendly and worked efficiently - Movers wore a company uniform - BK checked in prior to the move and then regularly during the move to make sure things moved along. - Overall team is very flexible, we were able to have them drop some things off from our move at another location for us since we were paying per hour Cons: - Information transfer (comments / instructions / locations) between reservation specialist, move coordinator and movers could be improved - Felt a bit pressured to immediately agree and pay new charges / no time to review new invoice or for discussion or comparing or time tracked / notes since the Movers aren’t allowed to leave until you pay - Movers Didn’t use company Truck Idea: Could implement a text system to notify hourly clients of the exact logged start time for better management of move time, especially since our perceived start time was different than what the movers communicated to BK — we ultimately ended up paying a bit over what we desired but it was worth the outcome.

We did a long distance move from the DMV to Orlando area. The experience starts and ends with Christy the owner. She was responsive from the time we needed a quote until after the work was done. When doing a long distance move there is a ton of anxiety about making sure everything runs smoothly and Christy was there to answer any questions that popped into my head. We had to do a last minute reschedule of the post move cleaning (we used Nifty Pro for that too) and Christy worked with us on that as well. I’m horrible with names, but the guys that did the moving were prompt and pleasant and did a great job. Unfortunately some of my things did get dinged up in the move (a few broken lamps, our shredder got crushed and a corner of our TV stand got chipped). TBH, I’ll trade the items getting banged up for the professionalism and courtesy. I would use Nifty Pro again tomorrow if I needed to. Professional, courteous and competitively priced.

Nifty Pro Movers made our move a very smooth process. They showed up on time and were able to wrap fragile furniture, and load and unload our 4 bedroom townhouse in just under 5 and a half hours. The management was also great and very accommodating to our schedule, especially as we had to change the moving date. They are definitely worth it for the value and I would use them again!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love to communicate directly with the client with a phone call to discuss and have a clear picture of the clients needs, if possible. We send an estimate to the customer through our 24/7 client portal from Nifty Pro Movers. From there, if the estimate looks good the client will approve it and it will turn into an invoice. Once Invoice is presented then a deposit for the minimum is due to hold date and time slot. We ask that you give us a 1 hour window to for pick up of furniture (items). Upon arrival a work order is presented and then its time to get to work! During the process management from the office check in with the client. Our job is to make sure that you have a great experience and satisfactory service!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our staff receive in house and in field training. As well, as on going continuing training to make sure that all policy and procedures are completed accurately.
