I had a wonderful experience with J&J Fireplace repair. They resurrected my long dead gas fireplace! We moved in over 10 years ago and it’s never worked, I assume the previous owner didn’t manage it well either. Tony from J&J was prompt, professional, and highly skilled. His troubleshooting was exciting to watch. The fireplace was badly rusted from a leak we didn’t know about. He replaced one part and attempted to save the others. He was kind in answering my questions and reach out to his boss when he couldn’t figure it out. Great teamwork. He also kept me in the loop when things he was doing would increase the cost. I HIGHLY recommend J&J. I was hesitant at first due to the required $169 fee, but in the end I chose them because they were very confident they could do it and they absolutely did.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a career professional firefighter first and foremost so safety is my #1 priority. We will never leave a fireplace in an unsafe condition. I also have extensive gas fireplace repair experience.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in this business performing gas fireplace service and repair which is the primary service we provide. I was taught by a fellow firefighter and coworker who had 20+ years in the gas fireplace industry. I started my own business in November 2014.
