I have a degree in Science and am fully certified by the National Association of Mold Professionals (NAMP) and with PRISM laboratories. I also am board certified as a Certified Indoor Environmentalist with the American Council for Accredited Certification. I am honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps (1991) and am an active member of the Montgomery County Marine Corps League, Detachment # 1428. All scheduling, consultations, and testing is done by the owner only. DMV Mold does testing and inspections only. It is considered unethical (and in some states it is illegal) to be both the mold tester and the mold remediator. Washington DC Mold Assessor license #00167 I enjoy going to new places and meeting different people and helping them with their Indoor Air Quality needs, whether it is mold, VOC's, formaldehyde, radon, or asbestos.

Tim was very informative and knowledgeable about air quality issues. The tests he performed confirmed our suspensions that we had an air quality issue. It would have been great if the tests came back negative. However, we have a plan to get the problem solved.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with the client either over the phone or in person and speak with them about their concerns and get background information about a problem. I explain what I can do to help them as well as offer tips to alleviate problems.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Science and I am a member of the National Association of Mold Professionals and they require continuing education to maintain membership. I also am a Certified Indoor Environmentalist, board certified by the American Council for Academic Certification.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Many clients call on me prior to renting or purchasing property. There is also testing available to make certain a home or office has had no prior tobacco use in the area.
