I was very pleased with ABJ Upholstery. They were very quick in responding to my request for a quote for the work on reupholstering a very old chair. The price was about what I had gotten from others. And since they got back so quickly, I decided to go with them. I am more than happy with the way the chair turned out. It is beautiful, the workmen ship is superb. The only reason I didn't give them a 5-star rating because when I went to pay the final bill, he was a little confused about how much of a deposit I had left. I feel their bookkeeping needs a little help. But as for the workman ship I cannot complain, it was wonderful.

Just changing the faux leather seating portion on the love seat, I was quoted 655. Unbelievable.

I’m sorry you think it’s expensive. It just so happens that the seat is the first part of the sofa that gets installed in the process of rebuilding your sofa. Therefore, this job would be similar to a full reupholstery, given that we would have to take the entire sofa apart in order to get to the seat and arm correctly, while taking extra care not to damage the fabric that is in good condition and that we would have to put back on.
Upholstery is a skilled and labor-intensive process that requires expertise, experience, and specialized tools. The average cost to reupholster a couch is $600 to $4,000, depending on the size, fabric, and condition of the sofa. Your quote is within this range and reflects the value of our work and the materials we would use.
