Passionately delivering simplistic, beautiful, creative, cinematic story-telling. I am a person, not a "company". For weddings, I work to get to know the bride and groom to understand their personal style and needs. I always offer as much coverage as possible because my goal is to capture the entire day and get as much detail as possible. I work well with other vendors, easy going with the client, and am very flexible with feedback. All couples get a 1-minute sneakpeak/teaser trailer of their wedding within 1 or 2 days after the wedding date. The client reaction to their film. The filming of the details, the smiles and laughter of friends and family. The editing of all the moments. The creativity. The love of friends, love of family, and love of the bride and groom.

nVu Films was hands down the easiest and best decision we made during the wedding planning process.  Vu responded to our quote request within 10 minutes and sent us a number of films he had recently completed for review.  We were impressed and instantly knew that we had found a rising star in the wedding videography industry.    We scheduled a skype call to meet and discuss vision, ideas and additional details for our wedding film.  He was prepared, professional, courteous and earned our business that very day.  

When our wedding day came up (March 11th, 2017), Vu arrived promptly and just began working.  He was very instinctual in terms of knowing when to provide direction and when to simply blend in and allow the moments to naturally occur.  We later found out that he had arrived even earlier than we had expected to get background footage of the property and to scout out locations for later in the day.  Once we began filming, it was all very seamless.  During the reception, Vu just kind of blended in with everything else and every time I thought to myself, "oh this would make for a great shot..." I would immediately notice Vu already in position to grab it.  The best part was that Vu was never out of position for a great shot while simultaneously never getting in the way of our photographer's shot.  It was as if they had worked together for years and years and hadn't met just hours earlier...  

My Wife and I are eternally grateful to Vu.  We received a lot of gifts that day but none will be more valuable to us than the videos that Vu has produced for us.  Someday, our children will be abe to watch this video and share in the day with us.  They will never have to wonder "what was the wedding like?" because Vu will have given us that gift to keep forever.  

As if the quality of the work and craftsmanship was not enough, Vu was able to provide us with the "Teaser" and "highlight" films within a week after the wedding.  It made for a great first week of married life to get to relive the wedding together.  (see the links below)

If you haven't yet decided to use a videographer for your wedding, do it!  I promise that you won't regret it.  More importantly, do yourself a favor and choose nVu films to produce your wedding video.  I'm confident that you will feel it was the best money you ever spent.

Wow - Vu is truly the definition of a perfect wedding vendor. I was desperate about a month before the wedding to find a videographer -- but every sample video I watched from the dozens of other vendors I found on Wedding Wire were extremely disappointing. My last ditch effort was Thumbtack and then I found Vu. From the very beginning he was so easy to work with - not pushy at all and really down to earth. We Skyped first before deciding if it was a good 'match' - which I think is a great idea because I could see his dedication and we learned a lot about each other. So let me tell you what is amazing about Vu - he spends the entire day of your wedding filming, he does not charge by the hour. This really sealed the deal for me - that I could pay one (verrrry low) price and he would film from sunrise to sundown. On the day of my wedding he was hands down everyone's favorite vendor - very professional but super laid back and always behind his camera capturing every moment. What I could not have anticipated was the absolutely stunning result we received just a day later - we woke up to leave for our honeymoon and there was a 1 minute long teaser video on Instagram..it was amazing. It definitely left us wanting more and in less than 3 weeks we had our final video which was nothing short of incredible. Its been about 2 months since our wedding and I can say we cherish and enjoy the final product Vu gave us way more than the hundreds of pictures taken by our photographer. I was a very picky/OCD bride, so for me to say that hiring Vu was the best decision I made in the 2 year long wedding planning process means a lot. He gave us something that I am so proud of and love showing off. Thanks again Vu !!

Vu is very passionate about his work. Great price, EVEN BETTER QUALITY of work. I barely noticed him(he was never in anyones way). He worked so well with the photographer and was down for whatever we asked of him. He also made great suggestions for the video and the teaser turned out GREAT. Thank you so much!

A wedding video is the best if not only the only real way to capture the whole memory of your day. My wife and I watched over 200 wedding videos by videographers from Philadelphia down to Raleigh. We found only about a handful that we really liked and had to make a decision. We were contacted by nVu Films and had a few emails exchanges. From there, we knew our videographer Vu was best suited for our wedding and to meet our needs. He was absolutely professional and responsive from beginning to end. He really listened to what we wanted and what we are going for. It wasn’t simply taking clips and string along with some music. It is an art and his video is an art. My wife and I wanted a video that was very cinematic and thoughtful. He was able to capture all the important moments and style it that made us remember everything joyful from our wedding day. Vu was able to maneuver around our hectic wedding day of over 15 hours without complaint. He was courteous to all our guests and stayed in the background for our wedding. You won’t even notice him. He was on time for every spot and made sure to work with the other vendors or wedding planners to make sure he gets the shots he needs and plans accordingly. I simply cannot say enough how great he is as a person to work with but also providing top notch quality of work. I had zero issues with our video and zero complaints while working with Vu. I would advise booking him in advance while you can unless you want to go through hundreds of videos/vendors and be disappointed like my wife and I were.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My package pricing is flat rate. There are no fees I offer discounts to military men and woman, police officers, teachers. Please don't hesitate to ask!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After client expresses interest in work, we set up an in-person or video/skype meeting to go over the day, get to know eachother, etc to make sure we are a good fit. After both sides agree on the services, we sign the contract.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Got married and watched my own wedding video inspired me to film. Have been an artist since 5 years old working with various art mediums, from painting to sculpting.
