I chose my pro because he was a pastor. My husband and his family are really into church. I wanted to have an officiant who shared the same values as him. I also wanted our family to witness our ceremony although they too are pastors. I didn’t think we were going to be able to do the marriage counseling session that Pastor Johnson offered. However, we all got together to make it work. It was an enlightening experience. There are times where we shy away from pastor’s because we don’t want to be judged. That is not his style. He and his wife are very understanding and such an amazing team. It really gets you excited for the next level of life. If you feel nervous, unprepared, or anxious take the premarital counseling it is very helpful. Also you become apart of a family even after the wedding. Thank you for all the advice and guidance.

Pastor Johnson was a pleasure to work with. He officiated my ceremony and everyone praised his services. He was punctual and kind. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes:
1. $250 as wedding officiant
2. $1,000 for a 7-week pre-marital training/counseling with my wife and I. Each session is 1 hour in length via telephone or Zoom. The first session is at our home over dinner to establish the relationship.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Introduction conversation over dinner and sharing the proposed flow for the ceremony. I answer any questions and even offer pre-marital counseling (7 weeks) if warranted.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an ordained minister by Church of God Ministries, Inc., Anderson, IN, as of 2011. I enjoy frequent reading, attendance at conferences, teaching the Bible, serving as an associate and senior Pastor, and an active membership in pastor groups.
