James and I go way back and he has helped me on many projects. When we moved to our new home in Herndon, Virginia, he was the only electrician I called. On this project he installed recessed lighting with new switches. In his typical fashion he is prompt, courteous, competent, and tidy. He took time to explain what he is doing, and I like that. The bottom line: I would be very comfortable giving James a key to my house for any job. Laurie

James and his team were great.
We had a water heater break down and they got right to it that same Saturday afternoon, with a tricky install of an advanced new hybrid water heater.
They quickly diagnosed a complex install, with thermostatically controlled recirculation pump Switch over from oil fired to hybrid, etc, and did a great job quickly and professionally.
I highly recommend and am saving their info for anything comes up, residential or commercial.

Needed an outlet on a garage wall. James was great. Came in and quickly figured out a couple of routes we could take with reasonable prices for each option. He’s coming back to help with a tripped circuit and recessed lights.
UPDATE
I had him come back and attention to detail was missing. I wanted the elec panel reviewed/tested and correctly labeled. They did the checks and left. When I went to look at the panel, they didn’t label anything. They were outside so they came back in and labeled. Later had issues with vent hood and microwave, went to look at panel and I have no idea which breakers are for those two items, not labeled. Additionally, there is a breaker in the 30/28 slots. They labeled the 28/26 where 26 is its own unit and didn’t notate 30. So now I need to have the entire panel checked again.
When I told him he needed to come back he said he was out of town and would contact me on Monday. Wednesday rolled around, no call. When he wanted the jobs, he was calling me at 6 and 7 in the morning. I told don’t bother coming back. I’m going to update my review and be done with him.
Also, had them add a light to the living room. They were to buy the materials and I reimburse. They quoted $120 for materials when the new light was $28...needed two so $54. James tried to tell me they were $50+each before I went to Lowe’s app and pulled up the exact items. Additionally the lights had 2 star ratings because they were known to SMOKE! I bought my own materials.
Seemingly nice guys but attention to details and willingness to correct work is seriously lacking. I gave 2 stars since the first job went okay.
