Carlos was great! He was the first person to reach out to me after I submitted a request for estimates to Thumbtack. Throughout the entire experience he was responsive and punctual. We started out texting and when he couldn't quite envision what I was describing we set up a time for him to come out to the house for an in-person conversation. He came out to the house the next day. My husband and I were in a real time crunch and were extremely appreciative of his quick responses and quick turnaround. We needed an egress platform built in our basement bedroom. Day 1: I put in the request and texted with Carlos, Day 2: Carlos came over to see the basement and give me and estimate and Day 3: Carlos built the egress platform right on schedule with our timeline. Everything was completed within three days of my requesting estimates on Thumbtack. Also important to note that Carlos told me that he would arrive at 8 am to start the job and he actually showed up five minutes early! I love that. After only a short conversation with me describing the egress we needed and providing rough measurements, Carlos and his colleague built a solid, sturdy structure to the exact specifications I gave him. Lastly, both my husband and I had important meetings in the office the day Carlos came to do the work so we went out on a limb and let Carlos and his colleague come in and do the work alone. Everything worked out perfectly. I couldn't be happier with my experience and I hope to work with him again in the future.

We asked for shutters to be rehabbed because the wind had blown them off. Carlos was attentive to the situation of and around the work and got them replaced with due care within a reasonable period of time. I think they are far better anchored now

Hired to install a louvered pergola. Was done in 1 day or 8 hours. I appreciate the timely response to my questions before and during work. The work performance and cleanup was great. He was an hour late without notification or update. Overall, I'm satisfied.
