Introduction: I provide a very personal and special wedding planning service for weddings and civil partnerships. I am totally independent; I do not plan weddings to a formula. Every couple is different, and as your wedding planner I will produce something unique, choosing and working with only the most talented and suitable suppliers I can work with you at any point of your wedding planning. I know that wedding planning can be stressful. I will work as your wedding designer, wedding planner or day-of-coordinator. I simply enjoy looking in the face of someone who trusted me to make their day a dream come true and seeing the astonished look on their face as they enter the room and say "aah, yes" you did it..beautiful. Nothing means more to me than making sure everyone is pleased.

There aren't enough words to describe how amazing Shauna was throughout our entire wedding planning process. Her resources, professionalism, and entire team were absolutely vital to making our day the most magical day of our lives. There wasn't a moment where Shauna wasn't there with answers and endless patience which as a bride helped me out beyond belief. Her capability to go above and beyond was so clear with all of the organizing she did not only before the wedding but especially on the day of.

Bride-to-be Weddings was absolutely superb! I don't know how our wedding would have went without them. Our wedding was very well organized and it went so smooth thanks to them. The booking process was extremely easy and I'm very grateful for the coordinator we worked with, Shauna. She was very precise and clear and she helped my husband and I come up with the perfect wedding timeline. Since we only get married once, we made her our honorary auntie so that we can keep in touch lol that's how good she was! 5 stars!

I would first like to say we absolutely loved our Coordinator for the day, Carrie. She was fantastic! That being said- while nothing disastrous happened, and overall we had a great experience, there are a few areas that I think could have been improved on: 1. Pre-wedding communication. We were told that we would have lots of conversations and access to our coordinator 6 weeks from our wedding. around 4 weeks before, I sent a reminder email asking what the next steps were since we were getting close. After that, the communication was ok, but the back and forth discussion of decorations etc was a bit slower than I had hoped. Also, we were under the impression that the main coordinator (Shaunna) would be at the wedding. We talked about several aspects of the wedding (including mentioning that she and her asst should hang out and dance w everyone and have fun. She said that Carrie probably wouldn't but she sometimes likes to stay and dance), and all details with our decorations (I designed everything myself so I was a bit nervous in how everything would be laid out) went directly through Shaunna. If I had known it would be just Carrie (and a second assistant), I would have made a point to reach out to her directly. Not that big of deal, but a bit stressful showing up at the Rehearsal and noticing that some of the communication got mixed up a bit and Carrie was trying her best to get everything sorted from her notes. 2. Day of communication. The decorations turned out beautifully! Carrie really paid attention to everything we talked about and showed her during the rehearsal. We were super excited with everything decoration wise. The issue came with the music. We were lined up for our intros and the second assistant came back and asked what songs we were having. We had already provided that information that was supposed to be relayed to the DJ, but we went ahead and confirmed the songs, the order, and the names of the party, right before going in. It ended up getting all out of whack and the bridal party came in on the Brides song, the Bridesmen were introduced as the bridesmaids, and the Brides weren't introduced correctly so it was just a bit confusing. This also happened with our walk down songs as it was given to the DJ backwards on the sheet. It was all fine, and it didn't stop everyone from having a blast, it was just a bit frustrating in the moment. Also, the 2nd assistant, while very very sweet, didn't seem to have much experience/knowledge of what was going on so we felt most comfortable working specifically with Carrie, which may have felt like more work for her on her end and we feel badly about that. 3. Payment. This was a bit tricky. And again, this is more of a heads up to help other customers in the future! You do not have to submit your payment until the day before your wedding. Just remember that the day before is extremely hectic, especially if you have a lot of friends and family flying in and are having a rehearsal/rehearsal dinner. We did not get our invoice until that afternoon and totally missed it. I then saw around midnight that the invoice had been updated because it was late and it was an additional $250. I was a little confused, and mentioned that in the morning, and basically got a "this is per contract and without payment we cannot continue service". So, I paid it with the additional cost. Again, this is in the contract, but I think having the invoice sent a week ahead to give people the option to pay early, would be a bit more transparent. The was the last thing our coordinator said to us. Every other vendor we've had reached out for a follow up after the event and so it feels a bit impersonal, but again, that's just our perspective. Overall, our wedding was successful. There were a few things that could have been tweaked, but we had a great day. This review is mostly just a reminder to make sure you are on top of your contract and are vocal with your concerns/questions. Talk with Shaunna early on if you are assuming she will be there day of, so that you can clear that up right away. Email right at the 6 week mark if you want to take advantage of your full 6 weeks. And, set a reminder alarm the day before your wedding to check your email for your invoice so you don't end up with a late fee of $250. Also, make sure to go over the details of your song choices, walk down order etc in full detail at the rehearsal and also make sure that your DJ is in the loop! I will say, Shaunas personality and energy is infectious and Carrie is an absolute rock star! I would recommend them for sure, just thought I'd share some tips to help future Brides/grooms:) Thank you!
