My fiancé and I needed a prenuptial agreement notarized on very short notice, which was communicated ahead of time. I was very happy with the lady’s responsiveness, price, and willingness to meet us. However, leading up to the day we were supposed to meet her, I didn’t hear anything. I messaged her twice to see if we were still on; no response. I even gave her 24 hours before reaching out to other notaries; which I didn’t want to do but we were on a deadline and also it was moving day. I understand life happens, but a heads up would have been nice or at least a response back to say she was sorry but could no longer do the job for us would have been the more professional approach. Luckily, we were able to hire and meet another notary in the last few hours we were in Maryland.
