FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing professional services for specific jobs is not normally standardized due to the amount of time and the complexity of the work involved. We work off a hybrid model that takes into account the cost of resources needed, the complexity, the time expected to complete and the amount of risk. Fairly simple jobs that can be done quickly by our professionally trained staff and present little risk to us are much less than a complex job that requires very special knowledge and presents a significant amount of risk. The pricing of our resources start at roughly $45/hr and increase from that point. However, keep in mind that trained personnel can accomplish tasks in a much quicker time period that most untrained personnel.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
That depends on the service being performed. For audits and other attest related engagements we aim to maintain independence. However, we always spend a significant amount of time planning our engagements and communicating. We believe that constant communication is best regardless of our findings. We always aim to answer questions and to provide guidance when possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a licensed CPA firm, which means that we need to meet state licensing requirements. As the founder and managing partner of the firm, I am personally licensed as a CPA. I have a BBA in Accounting and a MBA in Finance. In addition I am pursuing a Doctoral degree in Finance. In order to be a licensed CPA, I have had to pass the uniform CPA exam. I am also required to keep my knowledge base current by attaining special training courses each year.
