Being a people's person my service stands out because I can relate as a consumer with professionalism along with bring "personal photography services". Certain qualities of relationships and professional services is missing today. I truly embody building a relationship with my client far further than the current requested assignment. Making the time and learning of my clients needs and desires helps me use my talent and gift as a photographer in capturing photos for generations to see. What I love about my trade is, it's not a JOB! I'm working in my sweet spot. My love of doing what I love is what makes my heart beat. Photography is my life, capturing treasured moments is my joy. Jeff Brooks is one of the greatest photographers in the DMV area. We hired Jeff to take our Christmas family photos, a yearly tradition. Not only did Jeff arrive in time, he patiently waited for members of our family who were running late. We have a large family of eleven (six adults and five kids) and two dogs. Jeff was able to capture many good shots, irrespective of the frequent moves of three toddlers and two wandering dogs. We enjoyed our photo session with Jeff, which ran overtime. Jeff's exceptional customer service skills, patience, and keen eye are only a few of his qualities. We will be hiring Jeff for all our photography needs.

My 60th birthday at a bed and breakfast Nuphoria in Maryland. My theme was Lady in Red. Jeff was a innovative photographer that did above and beyond. He afforded me lasting memories.

My husband and I had a great time working with Jeff for our engagement photography session. He traveled with us an hour and a half up to the road to our undergrad to take our photos. He knew how much it meant to us to have our photos taken at our college where we met. It was freezing outside when we took our photos, however, Jeff worked quickly and kept our energy up through out the shoot. It was such a fun and memorable experience. It was a true pleasure working with him!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typicall process with new customers is quality time communicating and learning about thier photography needs. The foundation of providing my ttalent and services is to meet their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My photography education is all self taught that stems from being a hobbyist for over 20 years. The Internet has been a great source for learning along with attending professional workshops, conferences and expos. I've learn from the very begining lighting and technical parts of photography that has greatly benefited me today with many opportunites.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I converted from being photographer hobbist in 2001 and opened up my first studio. In 2012. In 2012 I opened a second studio but October 2014 I decided to close it for more opportunities to travel as a sought after personal photography for major brands executive and opportunities in the beauty and fashion world.
