FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically, on average, the pricing tends to reflect materials and hours. Often the greater the amount of custom work a project requires more time will be spent moving between design and build phases. For jobs involving pickup and delivery we also include an additional fee per mile traveled and the time spent working for your project. The estimates are fairly accurate. Many times we will charge less than the estimate. In short, simple installation projects tend toward a flat rate. Custom projects move away from cookie cutter pricing toward the realm of a gourmet meal that you will be proud experience.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We listen and observe. We analyze what is presented by the client to figure out what needs to be done. Once the problem is identified we propose a solution and a process for making that solution a reality.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Much of our training has been learned the hard way: we earned it. These are some of the clients we have had the honor of working with: +National Institutes of Health (NIH) +National Institutes of Science and Technology (NIST) +Lockheed Martin +University of Maryland +Veterans Administration (VA) +Westat +Davis-Bacon Projects +Other private clients Our technicians have spent years honing their craft. We take pride in our work. We are constantly learning new materials and processes. Still many things stay the same. The bottom line is: We are clear about what we start. We finish what we start.
