What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Technologies are changing but principles of composition and successful color combinations never change, thats why i always go back to books about 19-20 century designers and architectors. I always carry the last issue of HGTV magazine and House Beautiful with me. A lot of useful info on TV.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad offer me to try design school, because he thought I had a talent in painting since I was a little kid. I tried it. I loved it . Can not imagine my life without brushes, pencils, paint and other tools
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Restaurant for 180 people in Columbia MD. It was a cave before and we rebuilt everything from ground up. New floor, opened up the ceiling, build the stage for live music, build all new benches and tables... Overall the results was incredible. It has Caribbean- african feel to it.
