The Tailored Closet of Silver Spring installed our dream closet! My husband and I were stumped with the design as far as maximizing the space. Sam was such a help with the design process, using a software program that let us see exactly the layout and adjust as needed. Everything was customized! The carpenters, Joshua and Cameron, were true professionals and their attention to detail was impeccable. The materials are high end and built to last. I honestly can't believe the amount and quality for what would have been the price (still pinching myself!). I HIGHLY recommend them for anyone who is tired and frustrated with a closet, pantry, etc. The Tailored Closet will take care of you and make your life so much easier!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is project based, as each of our projects is fully custom to your space. We offer multiple project discounts, if you choose to makeover more than one space. We can work within just about any budget however our project minimum is $1,500
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our initial consultation takes place in your home, where our expert designers will take the time to get to know you, your style, and your ideal solution for your space. They will then take measurements of the space accurate to the 16th of an inch and recreate your space in our 3D modeling software. Depending on the project complexity, our designer may design the project with you right there, but for more complex projects, will schedule a follow up meeting to review designs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our designers undergo rigorous design training in both design principles and color theory at our experience center in Dallas Texas, which gives them hands on training in all aspects of design. We are also members of the National Association of Homebuilders, The Maryland Building Industry Association, and the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals.
